YOUTH TASK FORCE

This task force is comprised of 13 lay members and 2 pastors.  Their efforts seek to bring the faith community together for the common purpose of uniting our youth to build a strong foundation of Christian principles to enable them to withstand the pressures of drugs, alcohol and other inappropriate vices.  They are developing a calendar of events for the youth to come together for fellowship and spiritual growth.  They also will promote ways for the youth to play a part in the ongoing battle against drugs in Powell County, utilizing cooperating resources in the schools to help them.  They also work to develop new and innovative ways to help Powell County youth find healthy activities to enjoy.

 Plans are to hold a Motive8 Bash on the first Friday of every month during the School year, to the extent possible.  For information on the latest plans for a Motive8 Bash click on this link!
