A group of concerned Powell County Christians met with PCMA President Anthony Molihan in front of the Powell County High School & Middle School at 10:00 a.m. for prayer to asking for God's protection and guidance for the Powell County School Superintendent and Central Office Staff, the Powell County Board of Education, and each school's leadership and staff, and all who attend a Powell County school. on behalf of the students, teachers and staff of these schools. In addition to this gathering, other groups of PCCUAD members and Ministers of the PCMA were also meeting at the other Powell County schools for prayer at this time. Following a season of group prayer, small groups walked to several areas on the school grounds nearby for continued prayer. If you were present, thank you for your faithful prayers and concern. If you weren't able to be present and you are a concerned Christian, we invite your prayers with us for the upcoming School Year and for our efforts as we work together against drugs and the forces of evil in our community.
