Anger Management
Anger is one of the most common emotional feelings that humans share. WE all get angry. Some of us handle it gracefully. Others literally “blow our tops” with violence both verbal and physical. “Anger Management” is a nine week, biblically based course teaching us to handle our anger, without allowing it to destroy our lives.
Two group sessions regarding this have been held. If you have a particular interest or desire regarding this particular session, feel free to contact us by clicking on this link. Perhaps this session will be offered again in the future, depending upon interest and needs.
Subjects discussed in the group setting are as follows:
1. You’re Angry! No, I’m Not!
2. What is anger? Its composition
3. Anger: What causes it?
4. When is anger a sin? Part 1
5. When is anger a sin? Part 2
6. Beginning steps in managing your anger.
7. Managing your anger.
8. Managing anger in your marriage/family relationships
9. Accepting responsibility for managing my anger.
This curriculum is suggested for support and grief recovery groups, substance abuse groups, marriage groups and retreats, men’s groups and adolescent support groups.
