The Powell County Emergency Food Bank provides services to those residents of Powell County in need who qualify. The Food Bank is located at 980 East College Avenue, Stanton, KY on the property of the Stanton First Church of God. The Food Bank is open each Wednesday (except closed on the 5th Wednesday of any month having 5 Wednesdays) between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. Food is available for qualified recipients once each 30 day period (or more), for a maximum of 6 times each calendar year. First time sign up and qualification is required for the initial allocation.
The Powell County Emergency Food Bank operations are supported by local churches and donations from various people and businesses. We are a member agency of God's Pantry Food Bank serving in Powell County. Without this support and the help of volunteers we would not be able to provide this service to those in need.
