Powell County Christians United Against Drugs (PCCUAD)
We are a group of ministers from various Churches in Powell County, Kentucky. Since we began in 1958, we have been united as a part of the body of Christ to stand as a unified voice on matters of concern to our community. The "Powell County Christians United Against Drugs" (PCCUAD) is a recent effort started by our Association in 2005.
Other initiatives of the Powell County Ministerial Association are: 1) Jail Ministry, 2) Courthouse Chaplains, 3) Emergency Assistance, and 4) providing a unified voice for Regulatory Comment and Assistance to our Legislature and Local Officials on matters of concern. We have been instrumental in drafting and supporting the passage of an Anti-pornography Ordinance in the County. We are also presently engaged in efforts to thwart a petition attempted to allow alcohol to be sold in Stanton, KY. Ministers of over 30 Churches are members of the Powell County Ministerial Association. We appreciate your support and your prayers.
